MF644Cdw - Scan to email stopped working

I recently switched to ATT&T fiber from Spectrum.  Scanning to email via SMTP from my Google account worked fine with Spectrum however that stopped when on AT&T.  Troubleshooting steps I have taken:

  1. Added the printer to my phones hotspot (works again)
  2. Installed and configured an email client on my computer wit the same settings (new app password) and it works, I can send an email.
  3. Reset the app password from Google (did not work)
  4. Added the printer to the DMZ of the new router (did not work)

Being that my computer can send an email from a client using the same settings, it stands to reason the router nor AT&T in general is blocking SMTP traffic.  I am currently at a loss.  My last thought it the printer is sending the SMTP traffic weird somehow?

I would appreciate any new troubleshooting steps that would not be covered under the above steps already taken.

AT&T was blocking port 25.  I had to change the port manually in this printer (just checking the box for TLS didn't change it to 587)
