I'm LOW-TECH & My unit arrives tomorrow - . (1) Being W10 22H2 a Clk of the W11 24H2 ISO from UUP Dump site produced a KMODE Exception likely from an old HP MFP & driver this Canon replaces. No way to know what the link "Online Startup Instructions" shows (does it help you KNOW What to Dnload with questions) but My Unit's page shows 10 Software dnloads - WHICH to Dnload?.

(2) AND, Won't I FIRST Delete the HP Driver Pkg (Control panel) and Attempt the ISO Upgrade to Win 11, ..... THEN install this Canon and W11 DRIVERS?

Can Only Presume I need (1) Master Setup Driver, (2) Generic Plus PCL6 Printer Driver v3.31, (3) Generic Fax Driver v10.67, (4) Send Function Setting Tool v 1.0.2_24, (5) imageFORCE 1440F ScanGear MF v 11.3.0.0.mf63, and MF Scan Utility v2.0.2.----- [ UFR II Print Driver, Generic Plus PS3 Print Drvr,  presumed No Need] ....(Windows) PPD File v5.40 appears to deal with PageMaker and QuarkXpress apps for printing. I'm 2016 Hm-Student Office only ... so No Need presumed. Don't want Laser cartridge capacity left Driver.

ANY HELP is appreciated!!

Greetings and welcome. I suggest you not over complicate your life.  🤣

You can download drivers for your printer here:

I'm sure you could slip stream drivers, but I'm sure it will be less complicated if you just install your printer and start using it.  Then maybe experiment more as time permits.

As far as what drivers you need, you only need two a print driver and the MF scan utility.  These two will provide full printing and scanning support.  The other drivers are optional and not actually needed. Faxing can be performed without the fax installer.  Send functions can be configured in the remote UI, I've not found the master setup to be needed either.  It's useful to have the MF scan utility and scan gear.  The advanced mode of scangear has some particularly useful granular features not offered in the basic MF scan utility.  The MF scan utility is fine for most people. I use it more frequently than ScanGear but it's nice to have options.

I appreciate the Reply but still wouldn't know which Printer Driver to install - I presume PLC6.

[ The Master Driver (1st shown in the link List you gave & I found earlier) statesThis file will download and install the driver needed to set up and utilize your product. Once complete, you will be able to install software to enhance the product's functionality.].... That reads to me that I need THAT Master Driver ... to install Other Drivers... and THAT's Not intuitive. The ScanGear Driver is REQUIRED to Install the Scan Utility Driver, so those 2 Plus a Print Driver makes 3 minimum. I suspect the Fax Driver involves internal Faxing with Mouse use Vs Manual docs in feeder or on the glass. Nice but not critical.

Unless you say different I'll dnload the PCL6 Driver and 2 Scan drivers and see what happens.

Thanks again!
