IJ Scan Utility availability for Windows 11?

I have a Pixma MG5420 and a new Windows 11 laptop. I downloaded the printer drivers/software, but the Scan Utility is not included.  Does Canon IJ Scan Utility not work with this printer and OS - its not downloading? Can I no longer scan with the MG5420?

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, the Canon PIXMA MG5420 has been retired. That means we do not offer support for the printer or updated drivers. We recommend updating to a more modern printer and reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialist who will go over the best options for upgrading your printer. If the Canon software is not available VueScan by Hamrick Software may allow to use the device for scanning.
