Got my printer to work but my computer says it can't find a scanner!

My computer is running Windows 7 64bit and I can't find my startup disk for my printer. I have downloaded a lot of drivers and software, shut down and restarted everything imnumerable times and finally mamaged to get it to print from my desktop, laptop and iPad. I have a wireless system using a Linsys router. Anything else you need to know?
