How do I print from my I-Pad

I am not able to print from my I-Pad, even though they are both attached to the same NetGear network

My printer is model #MX472, and it prints fine from my desktop PC, but will not print from my I-Pad, even though they are on the identical netgear nework,

Are you saying AirPrint doesn't find your iPad?
