Hello community, I just bought a Canon TS6420a printer.  I am trying to get connected to my Lenovo Ideapad 1i. the printer does not  recgonize my laptop. I follow the instructions on downloading drivers from my microsoft store but the it does not tell what app to download.  I keep going round and round in circles. I need help but I am not sure what kind I need to ask for.  Is this a hopeless cause or do I need to send this back qnd get a different printer?

Greetings,

To install your printer on a computer, you typically install drivers.

Tell us more about your laptop?  What operating system does it have installed (version and build).  Does it have a Intel, AMD or ARM processor?

Downloads for your printer are available here:

Canon Support for PIXMA TS6420a | Canon U.S.A., Inc. https://share.google/N5MujWj7X8HRA14et

If you want to use the printer with your mobile device, you can use the Canon Print App (It's available for iOS and Android.  Available from the iTunes or Google Play stores.
