Connect IP8720 to new router

I have tried everything I can to get new router settings for my IP8720 but have been unable to setup the wireless access. I reinstalled the software and went through the setup at least 6 times but I get a message "cannot connect to the device" using WPS or using a USB connection to setup the wireless. The printer works fine using a USB connection but it cannot be detected when trying to setup a wireless connection. I would appreciate any assistance. Tnx!

Thank you for your reply. I was able to connect the IP8720 to my new router. Don't ask me how because I was frantically trying a bunch of different methods and one of them worked. I did try several times the procedure at the link you provided and it was likely one of the attempts using this method that worked.

Oh I remember.The solution had to do with establishing a WDS port and connecting through that,
