I have the exact same problem. Just bought a Color Image Class 743 and can't print or scan from my 2017 MacBook Air running Big Sur. I am able to print from my Windows PC and iphone but not the Mac. Running on 2G with good signal strength. Turning off firewall no help. No problem accessign via the remote UI. Someone please help.

My 8300 had a bad network interface card. I changed to the USB port and it worked so I bought a long wire.
