Lately I am constantly having problems with the Canon 644dwr laser printer connecting to my iMac and MacBook Pro. It seems every time we get a software update they cannot find the printer. So I have been deleting the printer and then downloading drivers etc again and adding as my default. The other issue is that for some reason this is also a new problem, when I go through the process of resetting the network it takes forever for it to find the network and once it does and I type in the password it again just sits there and spins for over 10 minutes. Now I've had this printer and never had any problems in years past, only recently. Also it appears when I go into where the password is saved I can tell it's not enough dots for the length of the password. So not sure why that's happening. The router is not far away and the computer and the printer are on the same network. I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have to solve this issue.
