I had purchased a new Mac with Chipset M1 that it is provided with MACOS Sonoma 14.XX.
After instlling the Drivers for Printer as well the Scaner, this last stopped working returning the following message using the MF Scan utility:
Cannot communicate with the scanner.
The cable may be disconnected, or the scanner may be turned off.
Check the scanner status and try again.
Scanner driver will be terminated.
Error code: 600007
Using the Image Capture it returns:
Cannot scan because of the following:
- Scanner is busy
- Error occurred in the scanner
- Scanner is in Sleep mode
Check the scanner status and try again.
Scanner driver will be terminated.
Error code: 2100009
The only way the scanner works is using the buttons ScanPC1 or Scan PC2 direct on the printer device.
In previous versions like Monterrey in a MACbook pro Intel Chipset it was working with no problems until upgrade to the Ventura Version (13.xx)
So, as I can see the Sanned applications it did not working for versions after 12.xx.
Is there something I could do?
Note, I had registered as MF232, because the MF230w it did not exists for Canon USA.
