Canon MF227 will not scan from computer

MF tool box is installed on computer but when attempting to use it, says cannot communicate with scanner.  I can print via the wireless network but cannot scan.

I am having the same exact problem with MF6160dw  but on Windows 10

It worked fine on windows 10 until I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro  Version 1511  OS Build 10586.36
