Canon C5235i Not responding to Networking after Firmware update

My Canon C5235i was in good shape and working perfectly both with USB connectivity and cable connection. But after i run an update of the firmware, the cable connection and access stopped working. I am left with the option of using USB connectivity which isn't very reliable to me. I have also realised that, i cannot also access stored files on pendrive when plug into the printer for easy access to print directly from the pendrive. It will indicate that, there's a media plug in but files are not accessible  Pendrive not showing at "Scan and Store"Pendrive not showing at "Scan and Store"Network not working even when cable is connectedNetwork not working even when cable is connectedPendrive not accessible at "Access stored files"Pendrive not accessible at "Access stored files"
