Canon, I had to upgrade my Verizon WiFi router just recently. I have the EXACT same problem where I have spent hours on this trying to go over every aspect of this process to get my MX472 working on my new WiFi router. I simply cannot get the printer to expose the "passphrase" and it refuses to connect to my WPS won't work no matter what I do. Lately I tried to enter the passcode and the instructions say that you click OK TWICE. No matter what or how quickly I enter OK it goes to the connection and does NOT allow me to enter my WiFi Password. Now If and when you approach this to fix it in the firmware. How would you go about upgrading it since the printer needs to be online to download and upgrade firmware? I now have Windows 11 which I cannot find the Windows software to change passwords or update firmware through the USB port.
