Any suggestions on how to connect my older Pixma MX870 to my wireless network?

I know Canon stopped supporting this printer but seems a shame to just throw it out as it works great otherwise. The wireless connection worked fine until I had to change my modem and now the only option is a USB cable connection which is not a solution for me as the printer is in a different room than my PC. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We recommend updating to a more modern printer and reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialist who will go over the best options for upgrading your printer.
