how do i transfer pictures from an iphone and be able to see it on my canon sx620?

Greetings,
You can manually move the pictures to the memory card which should allow you to see them in the camera. Note, they must be a resolution and file type the camera is capable of reading.

I do not think you can do that. Canon DSLRs do not permit, so I see no reason for a Point & Shoot to allow it, either.
The camera will only recognice image files that the camera itself actually writes. There are ways to transfer files from one Canon body to another, but the transfer means that the camera itself is still writing the files to the memory card.
