streaming video

I have a Canon Powershot SX540 HS camera and was wondering if there is a way to set it as a webcam

Hi there,

Most of those Powershot cameras aren't designed for it but if it can output a live image to your television through an HDMI cable then you may be able to send the same signal into a USB-HDMI capture device connected to your computer, that would be essentially the same way a DSLR would do it as well.
