Wrong flash position?  I don't understand what you mean.

Do you mean 1st or 2nd curtain triggering ?

If you mean that the flash won't fire you need to press the icon that looks like a lightning bolt, then select the option you want, such as the lightning bolt with the letter A to activate the flash. See page 66 in the user manual.
