canon sx720 won't connect agghhhh

Though I had it sorted. my canon sx 720 has now decided NOt to connect to the computer via WiFi i will resort to having to buy a cable as this product does not do what it says on the label i.e wi ficonnect, after all. It worked for a while but not now.

So frustrateing

What. An. Ordeal.
I have spent [wasted] so much time trying to get the camera & Windows 10 to connect.

Was successful a couple of random times for unknown reason(s).
Followed the installation instructions. 
Followed the [out-of-date] video. 
Frustrated by the obsolescence of the Gateway.
Finally had to register for yet_another_Canon_site to get to this thread.

Media streaming options seems — repeat, seems — to be the solution. 

We'll see...
