I've been transferring photos from my Canon Powershot SX720 to my phone (android/Samsung) using the Canon Camera Connect app for years without issue. After their last app update, I wasn't able to connect anymore. And now, even before that step, when I try to connect to WiFi on my camera, I consistently get the error message "Incorrect Wi-Fi Security Settings." But, I haven't changed any settings, and everything looks correct as far as I can tell. What is wrong, and how do I fix? I need to transfer photos from my camera daily and can no longer do so. I really don't want to be forced to resort to using SD card to transfer now. Thanks for any help.

Same. Any resolution? SO annoying.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PowerShot SX720 HS is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.
Hope this helps!

Just to provide an update for those also having this problem, my camera started connecting again so that everything is working now. I did not alter anything; it just resolved on its own. Hopefully that happens for others too.
