My camera is a Canon SX-260 and my PC operating system is Windows 7.

I'm guessing here based on similar problems / issues with complaints when members have bought a newer camera than the software they are using BUT have you installed the latest version of the software needed to view them? Did you install the software that came with the camers? OR from the supplier of the usual program you've use in the past?
