SX720 HS - How to display date stamp on images

Hello, I am experiencing a similar issue with my SX720HS. I am unable to see the soultion posted earlier. If you are able to assist me with getting the date stamp setting (which does not appear in the settings of the camera) to be enabled I would greatly appreciate it.

The PowerShot SX720 HS does not have a function to stamp date and time information into the visible portion of a photo or video. Date and Time information is saved in the EXIF data of the file, so computers can read when the shot was taken. The camera is not able to display that information on the visible portion of the photo itself though.
