Anyone experiencing a soft "whoo" sound sometimes coming from the lens apparently. A slight zoom stops the sound?
I just wanted to know if it is normal? Have been asking here before, no response, but that could've been becaue of a lot of noise ... 🙂

You may be hearing the gyros for the image stabilizer system. Turn IS off & see if it's gone, then back on to see if it returns.

Nope, that does not solve it - so far the only way to solve it is slightly zooming ...
