Problem with PowerShot SX620, lens cover doesn't close and video sound won't play

I have a Canon Camera model: SX620

The camera is not working well- cover of the lens doesn't every close.

In addition, when I take new videos with the camera and play it back, sound does not play.

(Older videos that had sound DO play back still).

Can you please advise on how I can get my camera fixed?

What happens if you move the videos to your computer and play them? Sound or no sound?

Getting this camera fixed is not feasible, if even possible. Finding someone to do it, with availability of parts, won't be easy. And cost of repair will exceed the value of the camera. The lens cover is the first thing to go on these pocket cameras. You can try cleaning between the blades with thin strips of paper and gentle air blower. Not recording and/or playing video sound is even more trouble.
