PowerShot SD800 IS pictures can't download to Windows 11 computer

When I got  My Canon PowerShot SD800 IS I had WIndows XP.  I got New computer Windows 7 Everything worked fine.  I got Windows 10 Everything worked fine.  I now have new WIndows 11 & NOTHING.

I used to be able to take the little card out & put it in the computer & download the pictures I took.  Then it would delete all of the pictures from the card.  I don't want to be on a cloud, or anything else.  Just take a picture, send it to the grandkids.  How do I cope with this?  Me 'n' microsoft are not in the same ballpark.  They are rich.  I am not & cannot buy all their stuff  Is there any fix for my wonderful litle camera?  It has been such a blessing & makes my pictures look really great!

I get the card into the front of the computer, it fits loose & I have to tweak it to get it to connect.  Then I can barely remove it because the thing goes so far in.  Is this me?  The Computer?  The card?

All that is in that box is Eject My Book 25ED   Eject Brother PC - FAX 3.2   Eject Brother MFC - J497DW

The Brother stuff I spent 3 hours with the good folks as they walked me through installing the proper stuff for the laser & inkjet printers as neither would do squat.  "Sigh"   Think I should call COSTCO where I bought it?  long drive there, & I doubt if they have anyone to deal with it.  I'm getting grumpy.  Time to go eat.  Thanks again.  & the LAST thing I sall do is go to pandora & listen to my Hawaiian music.  Wilein the military & stationed there, I discovered that listening to Hawaiian music soothes the ruffled feathers of this ol' hen!

Let me ask a question for clarification please.  As I understand it, the SD card reader is physically built into the body of the computer.  When you put an SD card into the drive, can I confirm that the SD card appears in your File Manager list?  This is usually found on the left-hand pane of File Manager, as per this shot from my own Windows 11 computer, when I put the SD card in, it came up with an assigned letter of Drive G:  (the actual drive letter is irrelevant).  What is important is that it appears as shown: with a title of EOS Digital (drive letter).
