For an Apple, just plug it in.
You can check to see if your computer has a card reader.

If you have a computer with an SD card reader you don't need software.
Follow this procedure - it is the fastest and more reliable method:

You can download from the memory card two ways:
1. Connecting camera to computer with a USB A-MiniB cable. The camera will (should) appear in Windows File Explorer or Mac and Linux desktops. Open it, open DCIM, and move the files.
2. Take the memory card reader out and put it in a USB card reader. Plug it into the computer and open it.
