I have a Power Shot ELPH 190 IS that is 2-3 years old. I want to transfer photos from the camera to my MacBook Pro computer. I do not have any connecting cables, instructions or other devices to do the transfer. What do I need to obtain in order to make these transfers and how do I do it?
Thanks, Peter

Some MacBook Pro computers have SD card slots. Hopefully yours has one and so you could use that.
If not, I would recommend getting a dedicated card reader. They are fairly inexpensive and will work great in cases where the computer fails to recognize a camera connected via USB.
Do be careful though to get the correct type of connector on the card reader. What specific MacBook Pro model/year do you have?
