I have a canon Powershot A560 and I’m wondering how I’m able to transfer the photos to my laptop/phone. I use a sd card. I would really appreciate if someone would help me

Greetings,
The power shot a560 is an older model. It was released in 2007 and is going to be 18 years old.
For transferring photos, you have two options. You can use a cable or a card reader. The quickest way to get pictures onto a mobile device might be to use iCloud for Apple or Google photos for Android.
I thought you might like to know that Canon has recently released the PowerShot V1. After many years of hiatus, Canon is bringing back the powershot series. The V1 is a 22 megapixel camera which has three times the image capturing resolution of your A560 ( 7.1 MP(. It also takes 4K 60p video. It sounds like you're A560 has had a good long life. So much has changed in the last two decades. If you get a chance, take a look at the V1.
