Do I need a special power converter when traveling to Europe for my Powershot sx60 camera?

Hi Marty28!
Welcome to the Canon Forums and thanks for your post!
You can actually use your battery charger overseas without any issues. The charger is designed AC voltage 100v-240v 50/60Hz
You will need an adapter to fit the wall outlet, however you will not need a transformer for voltage.
We hope this helps!

In all likelihood, yes, you will need some sort of power adapter.
The United States and Europe have AC wall outlets that operate on different line voltages and frequencies. Even the plugs are different, so that you cannot accidentally plug in the wrong type. If you purchased your gear in one side of "the pond", then you will almost for certain need a power adapter to use your gear on the other side of "the pond."
