Hello again,
Someone please tell me why the panoramic mode isnt in the manual for the Power Shot Sx 50HS? I cant figure out wnere it is on camera?

The PowerShot SX50 HS does, in fact, have a mode that helps you to line up panoramic shots, and it goes by the name "Stitch Assist." You'll find more about this on page 107 of the Camera User Guide.

Thanks, I did something stuoid and looked up the word panoramic in the index.....Thanks, by the way am I best off using a tripod?

It's no problem at all. We can understand how that could happen. As for tripod use, PhotoStitch, the software that assembles your Stitch Assist photos, can do its best to level out the neighboring photos, but for best results, a tripod would indeed be the best to keep the horizon consistent.
