My old PowerShot A540 doesn't work, it's just blank

I have a Poweshot A540 which is really old. When im trying to take a photo,its just blank. Its not about memory card or batteries which i replaced them. If its something i can figure out,dont be shy to help. Thanks!

If the camera is not giving any error message about the SD card, and you can't review any shots in-camera, and when connecting to a computer by USB cable it shows blank or black images, then give up The camera is almost 20 years old and these things don't last forever. Time to get another camera.

Images are fine. I can review them but when i try to take new photos,its just black.  I'd love to get a new camera but my country's economy is not so bright 😄
