After reading everything about the defect in the Canon SX 20 IS memory card issue where do I send the camera to get it repaired? This has to be a problem with design as to many cameras have the same issue. I don't expect it for free but don't think I shouldn't have to carry the cost to fix it.

You've tried more than 1 card in it?
You can google for a local authorized Canon repair shop in your area or just a local camera shop repair place.
