My Canon Powershot SX160 IS Menu button does not work.

Menu Button does not work.  When I press it, nothing happens.  Any suggestions?

You cant do a system reset then try taking out the batteries and holding the power button on for a minute....Is it under warranty?

I tried removing batteries and holding power buttonj for a minute.  No joy!  Bought it used, so it is n ot under warranty.  My thoughts are to replcae the button board.

Yes or maybe that board just came loose and moved away from the menu button. If you take it apart keep track of the screws the differences in those could be as little as 0.5mm and hard to see by eye
