I would like to remove or make either one of these boxes invisible. I'm trying to use this camera as a webcam through a micro-HDMI to HDMI and an Elgato Camlink but the camera doesn't seem to have a feature that allows me to disable the focus box in any setting the camera has.
I've tried almost everything.
The one thing I couldn't try was setting the camera up for live streaming since my camera can't turn off checking for a DNS address to connect to my wifi (Err 22). This seems like the only option since I saw an official Canon tutorial on streaming (see 3rd image) but then I would still have the Err 22 problem. Is there any way I can remove the focus box without using the live streaming feature?

Hi there,
The 5th page of your camera's shooting menu should give you some options for your HDMI output including an option for Clean HDMI, this option when enabled only outputs the video and none of the other on-screen information. Another option you can use is instead of outputting by HDMI you can use the EOS Webcam Utility PRO to send a clean HD signal over USB without the need for any conversion hardware. You can download it in the Software section of the camera's downloads.
