I have owned several Canon's and have never had this issue. I attach my camera to the computer using a USB cable and hit import and everything but the videos will upload. Please help. Thank you.

If you are experiencing some difficulty, I recommend using the software that came with your PowerShot A4000 IS to transfer the video over to your computer. You can also use a card reader to a accomplish this as well.
Picasa uses other available software and codecs on your computer to work with video. I have provided a link below that will show you a table of supported video formats and the software required to play them back:
