Hi all. I'm new to the forum.
My camera: Canon Powershoot G9.
Is it possible to open the shutter, leave it open for hours and then shut it?
In old film cameras the functions were called B and T.
With B the shutter stays open whilst the trigger button is depressed.
With T the shutter stays open until next depressing of the button.
Is there a similar function in the G9? i would like leave the camera pointing to the Zenit with an open shutter through all night to catch falling stars.
If this is possible with the G9 please give me instructions on how to do it. Also, which aperture is advisable?
Thanks in advance
Sandro
