Hello,
When I connect my Elph 300 HS to the computer via USB it shows a communication error and the computer does not seem to register that it is connected. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
Thanks,
MZM

I have tried on both OSX and Windows 7 and get the same response each time. I have a lot of photos on there, could that be the problem?

There is a remote possibility you have a corrupt file...try removing the sd card, get some or all of your photos off that way, take some more pictures and see. Also a reset of the camera may help
