Canon camera SX610HS?

Thanks, we are sooo new to digital, being "old school' for the last 76 years. Much to learn. Is it o.k. to buy a battery pouch to keep the battery stored while we are not using the camera?

Thats ok these cameras are like mini computers the user manuals for some of them are over 200 pages long!

However they also have simple modes like automaitc. Flip through your manual now and then they are laid out pretty well.

Sure you can store the batteries that way that's fine I just have mine in the camera bag.
