Canon Sure Shot 35mm Point and Shoot f/2.8 lens Availability

I am hoping to find help here as I am looking to purchase a Canon Sure Shot 35mm point and shoot f/2.8 lens that is on my daughters xmas list but I seem to not be able to locate it on the Canon website search. When I do a Google search only used cameras appear. I am not an expert in the camera field but rather a novice. Is this a throwback camera and/or no longer being manufactured and is trending thus leading teen demand for this particular camera? I may be missing something but hopefully I can find help here 🙂

It's a film camera introduced back in 1979.   See: Canon's Camera Museum.

Are you sure your daughter wanted this specific item?  You would only be able to find it used.
