Hello! I can turn on my Canon PowerShot S5IS and all the functions appear to be working fine.
However, when I try to click the big silver button to take a picture, nothing happens.
I have tried in other modes (manual, etc), and still nothing.
The button clicks when I push downward but the camera doesn't do anything.
Please help!! Thanks so much. 🙂

Hi Belle_bottoms,
Thanks for posting.
Please try this: Remove the batteries from the camera and close the battery compartment. Next, turn the power switch to the "Camera On" position and hold it there for 5 seconds, then release the power switch. Replace the batteries and turn the camera on.
If your camera works normally, you're ready to start shooting.
