Canon PowerShot ELPH 180 how to turn flash on always

I was wondering if anyone knows how to turn flash on always for the canon power shot Elph 180? When I press the flash button there’s only auto and digital IS that come up and flash only turns on based on the lighting. Is there a way to make flash always on??

Yes.  Refer to page 51 of the User Manual.  You can set the flash mode to "On" which will fire it for each shot.
