What kind of power cord do I need in order to download my pictures to my computer.

Hi Andrew and welcome to the forum.
It would help to know what kind of computer and operating system you are using. If you are using a Windows system (and some Macs) it is far simpler, faster, and more reliable to turn your camera off, remove the card and use a card reader (built-in or via USB) to download to the computer. Just remember that once you have copied the files across, in a WIndows machine, to use the Eject feature in File Manager to release the software connections to the card, then you can remove it and put it back in your camera to format the card clean and your are ready for your next shoot.
