Canon G7x Mark iii Glitch/Screen Freeze

  I picked up my new G7x Mark iii just a week ago. I’ve taken about 20 photos on it and it’s only left my the box twice. I was taking a photo earlier and the screen went green and grainy, and the camera froze. I had to take out the battery and restart the camera, and it took ages to come back on. The battery is near full, the SD card came with it and is formatted. I cleaned the battery and SD ports. This has happened several times today and it’s impossible to even take a picture on my new camera. Attaching a photo showing both the glitched screen and lenses stuck half out. A reset didn’t work on this either.

Greetings, 

Curious, where did you buy the camera?  The camera does not come with a memory card.  The first thing I suggest is try using a new (different) memory card.  Make sure you buy this from a reliable source.

It's extremely important to only buy camera gear from a authorized Canon Dealer.
