Canon Elph 340 not sending images to cell phone

I bought a Canon Powershot Elph 340 a few weeks ago. I wanted to have it so I could send pictures wirelessly to my Moto G cell phone and computer. But no luck. I have the Camera Connect app on my phone. I connect to the elph wifi signal on the phone and the camera. The camera gets ready to send the pictures. I touch send the images and today the squares of the images went to my phone but I see no real pictures and then the camera immediately disconnects. I have talked to Canon on the phone several times and they do not help at all. Any solutions to this problem?

I am still having this problem  although I was able to use the Canon Camera Window to transfer my pix to my computer. But the transfer to the phone never works at all. I am thinking of going to the store where I bought it as Canon Tech people cannot help at all. Over 100 people saw this post but no one replied with a solution. Any helpers out there?
