Hello people I have a Q, I’m new to this camera thing so please help me out here and help me understand. I have a canon powershot sx 70 hs. I wanted to buy this one lens called canon EF 100-400 mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens (I’ll show a picture) . I know this lens doesn’t fit the camera I have BUT is there an adapter I can put on my camera for this lens to fit?? Please let me know . Tips and advice is much appreciated

PowerShots (all of them) do not have interchangeable lenses. They have wide-range zoom lenses built-in.
EF (and EF-S) and R lenses are for interchangeable-lens cameras.

No there isn't an adapter to make it work. It will only work on a DSLR camera or adapted to a mirrorless camera such as the EOS R series.
