2 oldies but are great cameras still.... until they are not
haven't used for a while, since 2015/2016, when they both worked fine, they both used to work fine with 2400mah rechargable batteries as I remember but now they just come up either change the batteries or just don't come up at all. I tried with some alkaline's, cheapos from harbor freight, and they came up but with very low battery icon, and take a few pics before going dead. the new alkalines show 1.6 v and the fully charged rechargeables have 1.4ish voltage.
are my cameras somehow dying? haven't seen what their spec is for v.
as they get older they need the more powerful alkalines?
any body have similar experience?
