installed windows 10. canon mx726 now has C000 error code

I tried turning the printer on and off, including unplugging it. But it didnt work.

I went on-line to find a fix. Nothing has worked.

I did not have anything sitting in front of it or obstructing it. 

All I did was upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Now my printer won't work.

I work from home so really need this printer. 

Please help asap.

Same with my HP J4580 printer-----seems to be a typical WIN10 problem.
