imageCLASS MF8580cdw How to wirelessly scan directly to PC

I have an imageCLASS MF8580cdw MFP - I know it is discontinued but I want to be able to SCAN TO PC1 or PC2 and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect my laptop to the scanning feature of the imageCLASS device. I am tired of scanning to a usb thumb drive and then pulling it from the thumb drive. I know I should be able to scan from the imageCLASS device direct to my laptop. Having issues. HELP!!!!!

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The imageCLASS MF8580Cdw is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
