I just purchased a new laptop and downloaded my printer drivers. I can print, but it will not scan. I get an error message on the printer that states "Connect to the Computer", and the Canon MF Toolbox 4.9 error message states "A supported scanner is not installed. Please install supported scanner and restart toolbox." The OS on my new laptop is Windows 11. I can scan without issue from my other laptop that runs Windows 10. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers multiple times and Canon says the printer will support Windows 11. Unfortunately, the printer is no longer supported, but it is fine shape. Is there a patch out there somewhere that I am not aware of? It seems when I upgraded my old laptop to Windows 10, I needed a patch so I could scan. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
