imageCLASS MF753Cdw Remote ui, contact support


Does anyone know if there is a video tutorial on Remote UI. I'm new to a MF753 and would like to know all that's possible.


On another note, I'd like to why Canon does not have a chat option in tech support, especially for those that purchase the extended care pack. My reason is I have cerebral palsy and my speech is affected. They have the chat bubble, but it's always marked unavailable! TIA



I don't know if a video on Remote UI exists there, but you could try searching in the Canon USA Support YouTube channel.

For chat, I'm currently able to start one.  As of this writing, it is now 10:37 AM Eastern Time.   What times have you attempted to start a chat?


Camera: EOS 5D IV, EF 50mm f/1.2L, EF 135mm f/2L
Lighting: Profoto Lights & Modifiers

I just tried again and only see chat unavailable and it is11:33 EST. Now I'm in service and support, not sales!

I'll look into the canon youtube support channel but I did a search for canons remote ui already.


Chat support isn't available for every product, but Community support is. 

I was just trying to find a video tutorial on the Remote UI. I was trying to use it to change where scanned document ended up on my PC. I did call tech support and the tech told me to use the MF scan utility instead which worked. 

However, I'd like to know what I can do in Remote UI besides changing defaults on the print, scan and fax settings. Before talking to the tech, I thought I could use it to set up a button to scan to a directory via the address book but apparently not. Ended up resetting the printer to undo what I did🙃.
