DO NOT BUY CANON Color imageCLASS MF753Cdw
Our office recently purchased this printer. Not even 6 months later, we are having printing issues. Contact was made to Canon support who made us replace the existing cartridges (the cost of which equals the printer), do cleaning and try again.
We took these steps and the problem persists. Re-contacted support who basically indicated our warrany is not applicable because we used "non-canon" ink cartridges. Every product description site indicates it is ok to use non-canon cartridges.
We actually replaced with Canon products and the company still will not honor warranty. DO NOT BUY -IT'S A PIECE OF TRASH and customer support is horrible.

I'm having issues with this model as well. When the printer wakes from sleep mode, it takes several minutes for it to run through whatever it's doing. This is new as of about the new year. Might be from updates. The colors are no longer synced up and there's no way to fix that since I cannot run maintenance tests. When I try to print the image to fix the out-of-sync colors the print job fails. Very frustrating. I used to love Canon printers for their reliability. This is the second office-grade printer that is failing on me. (My 15-year-old B/W Canon laser still works like a champ. Pity they don't make quality printers like this anymore.)

Hi there.
I'm sorry you're having a problem with your printer. You haven't said what kind of problem you're having. You've said that you were instructed to replace the cartridges and you replaced them with non-Canon ink. You contacted support again because that didn't fix the problem, and support told you that the warranty was "non-applicable" because you used non-Canon ink, so you got Canon ink, and you were told again that because you used non-Canon ink we wouldn't honor the warranty.
But again, you haven't said what the issue is.
The first thing I'd like to say up front is that nowhere on our site does it say it's OK to use non-Canon ink or toner. As a matter of fact, on our site it says over and over that it uses Canon Genuine Toner. This is important because we do not control the quality of non-Canon ink and toner. We formulate our toner and ink to work very specifically with our products. This means not only pristine image quality, but it also ensures your product works as it should. Chemicals that make up toner and inks can damage the internals of your printer if they aren't formulated properly. We can't be held responsible if someone else's ink or toner damaged our printer.
Regarding the warranty, you can read it HERE. It details the process, and gives more information on what is and isn't covered.
Should you have any further questions, please contact support at 1-800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666), weekdays from 9am to 6pm (ET).

Is this the one you bought from AliExpress?

The problem began when we inserted canon toner into our machine.
Black and yellow are canon toners - clearly these are the cartridges causing the issue.
To be clear it is a printing problem with ink streaks on the paper (pictured). Have wasted more time and money on this than anyone should. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. Ours is 6 months old.

Perhaps you can explain why I cannot run any maintenance/adjustment tasks on that same model printer. When I print in color, the colors don't line up so text is blurry and images look wrong. I'm not asking for warranty repair - mine is out of warranty. I believe the problem with the printer occurred after new firmware was installed. I had avoided installing the new firmware but it did so on its one about 3 weeks ago. Now I'm having these issues. That's the only thing I can point to as the cause of these issues with being unable to run maintenance/adjustment apps. Is Canon working on a firmware fix?
